T. Rowe Price
Vulnerability Assessment and Design Services

T. Rowe PriceCTI performed a threat and vulnerability assessment and provided engineering, design, and construction administration services for the implementation of a security program for a new financial center. The new financial center project included five four-story buildings and five three-level parking structures. This was identified as the “Main Campus,” which was designed to contain the Main Security Station to monitor the Main Campus and all remote sites.

The project included interviews with the various user groups to determine the overall security needs, design of the security system, and coordination with the A&E teams responsible for incorporating the security system into the overall facility design, including: architectural, electrical, and fire alarm designers. The security system was an integrated design to the software level utilizing the one-operator concept. The design encompassed access control, intrusion detection, photo identification, communication and central alarm communication center, closed circuit television, and security intercom capabilities. This facility was connected over a dedicated T-1 communications link to other T. Rowe Price facilities throughout the US.
