Apply CADD knowledge, principles, integration techniques and procedures to create
site electronic security designs. Develop, maintain and manage an inventoried
library and database of facility security blueprints. Conduct site surveys, prepare
preliminary hand layouts and transfer to AutoCAD software. Assist in the
preparation of floor plans, section elevations and details of security drawings.
Requires three plus years experience with Autodesk AutoCAD versions 14 or 2000
and Bentley Microstation versions 95 or J as well as manual drafting design skills.
Expertise is required in the use of personal computers, plotter, blueprint copier and
compressed/decompressed files. Experience must include strong a proven track
record in problem solving, meeting deadlines and managing multiple tasks with
changing priorities as well as excellent interpersonal and solid written and oral
communications skills. A BS degree plus four years of related professional
experience desired; eight years of directly related experience may be substituted. US
citizenship is required and an active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one is
highly desirable.
